The Annuity Agency was founded for one reason: independent annuity producers are some of the best closers in any industry, and most of them are stuck doing their own prospecting with recycled leads that don't work. We do the prospecting. You do the closing.
Founder & Managing Partner
I've spent the last decade building paid-acquisition systems for organizations whose business model depends on having the right person in front of them at the right time. Nonprofits needing donors. Financial advisors needing prospects. Producers needing appointments.
The pattern is always the same. The skill of closing is rare and hard to teach. The skill of generating qualified opportunities at scale is also rare, and harder, and the people who are great at one are almost never great at both. The right structure puts each person on the work they're great at.
The Annuity Agency exists because the annuity industry has the worst version of this misalignment of any sector I've seen. Producers writing $3M+ in annual premium, who can close at 25 to 35% on a qualified appointment, are spending half their week doing the work of an appointment-setter. The math is broken. We fix the math.
Most producers we talk to don't have a sales problem. They have an empty-Tuesday problem. They close at high rates when there's someone across from them. The shortage is on the calendar, not in the close.
If a lead can be traced back to a marketplace, it isn't exclusive, no matter what the contract says. Real exclusivity means the supply chain runs from the ad directly to your calendar, with no detour through a pool that other producers can also draw from.
Per-lead pricing rewards vendors for sending more leads, qualified or not. Flat-fee retainers reward vendors for keeping your calendar full of the right people. The model is the most important part of the deal.
If a vendor needs you locked in for 12 months, they don't believe their own results will hold you. We don't do long-term contracts. We earn the relationship every month.
Our ideal client is an independent producer, FIA or retirement-income specialist, writing somewhere between $3M and $15M in annual premium. They're licensed in one to a handful of states. They're a strong closer, often a decade or more into their career, and they're tired of being their own prospecting department.
We also work with a small number of IMOs and FMOs who need an appointment engine to feed their downline. The mechanics are the same.
We don't work with brand-new producers who haven't yet proven they can close a qualified prospect. We don't work with producers who need a "magic button" or who treat the engagement as a test. The producers we get the best results with treat us as a structural partner, not a vendor.
The Annuity Agency is a new arm of an established direct-response practice. The team here has spent the last decade running paid acquisition for organizations whose unit economics depend on qualified appointments showing up: nonprofits, financial advisors, agencies serving regulated industries.
In the last 12 months alone, the parent practice has managed $3.4M+ in ad spend, much of it on platforms (Meta, Google) where the same playbooks now power our annuity producer engine.
We're growing our roster of annuity producers carefully and slowly. We only run one producer per territory, and we're saying "no" to most fits because we'd rather have a small, productive client list than a churning one. If you're considering working with us, the call is the easiest way to find out if it's a fit either way.
